Artificial Intelligence in Radiology:

Progress Meets Responsibility

Radiology is currently undergoing a profound transformation driven by the application of artificial intelligence (AI)—particularly through so-called Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4. These technologies enable the more efficient generation of radiological reports and the earlier, faster detection of diagnostic abnormalities.

Through our partnership with the Munich-based health-tech startup Floy®, we aim to jointly revolutionize radiology using certified AI software. Floy®’s technology supports our radiologists in detecting hard-to-diagnose abnormalities in MRI and CT images that lie outside the initial suspected diagnosis. In doing so, Floy® does not replace a medical diagnosis, but rather complements it in a meaningful and efficient manner.

Floy® is already being used in over 170 radiology practices in Germany and can optionally be booked as an additional service.
