Dr. Birgit Himmel is a specialist in radiology. After studying medicine at RWTH Aachen University, where she received her license to practice medicine in 1990 and her doctorate in 1991, she completed her specialist training at Lukaskrankenhaus in Neuss, Bethesda Hospital in Mönchengladbach, and AKH Viersen, passing her specialist examination in 2007.
After 25 years of hospital experience, moved to the outpatient KV sector in the former practice of Drs. Urhahn/Winandi and subsequently transferred to the MVZ - Radiologie-Netzwerk-NRW.
Her broad interests cover the entire spectrum of diagnostic radiology—CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound. Her particular focus is on CT and conventional X-ray, especially the care of oncology patients.
