Dr. med. Alexander Janhsen
Specialist in radiology | Site manager in Nettetal

Dr. Janhsen studied medicine at Georg August University in Göttingen from 2003 to 2009. After completing his medical studies, he completed his practical year at Bremen Hospital and Northeim Hospital. 

He then began doctoral studies at Hannover Medical School in the Department of Phoniatrics and Pediatric Audiology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. Ptok from 2009 to 2012. His dissertation, entitled “Effects of neuromuscular electrostimulation on the upper esophageal sphincter,” was awarded magna cum laude. 

He began his specialist training in radiology in May 2011 at Johanna Etienne Hospital in Neuss under the supervision of PD Dr. Schmid. From 2015 to 2016, he worked at the radiology practice in Ratingen and Mettmann, initially as a resident and later as a specialist.  

Since January 2021, Dr. Janhsen has been working at the MVZ Radiologie-Netzwerk NRW and heads the Nettetal radiology department in the medical center at the hospital in Lobberich.
