Dr. Dorothea Jansen is a highly qualified specialist in radiology with extensive knowledge and experience in diagnostic radiology.

After studying medicine at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and Hannover Medical School and receiving her license to practice medicine in 2006, she began her medical career as a resident. In 2010, she received her doctorate from Hannover Medical School (MHH). She was certified as a specialist in radiology in 2012 and two years later acquired the additional qualification in neuroradiology. Since then, she has been working as a senior physician in neuroradiology.

Since 2022, she has been head of neuroradiology at the MVZ Radiologie Netzwerk NRW. In addition to her clinical work, she is also involved in scientific research, including as co-author of the Springer reference book “Neurologische Notfälle” (Neurological Emergencies), in which she wrote the chapter on imaging and intervention in neurological emergencies.

She has a particular interest in modern imaging and interventional therapy for neurological diseases. With her deep interest in radiology, she contributes to making accurate diagnoses and ensuring the best possible patient care.
